The Faculty of Languages and Communication (FBK), Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA) has made its own history when the premier journal, Journal of Nusantara Studies (JONUS) was officially announced as a UniSZA journal under the category of social sciences on the 30th of June, 2016. This journal is the second journal of UniSZA after MyJAS (Malaysian Journal of Applied Sciences).
The journal provides a venue for researchers and practitioners to discuss, pursue, and promote knowledge in emerging and developing areas in language, linguistics, education, literature, communication, law, economy, culture, and politics in the Nusantara territories e.g. Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines and Timor Leste.
Led by its Editor-in-Chief (Prof. Dato' Dr. Hj. Mohamed Anwar Omar Din (DPMT)), three Managing Editors -Dr. Kamariah Yunus (Managing Editor 1), Dr. Radzuwan Ab. Rashid (Managing Editor 2), and Dr. Zulazhan Ab. Halim (Managing Editor 3), 18 section editors, 17 international advisory board members, and three expert technical assistants, JONUS stands proudly in front of the eyes of Nusantara and international audience at this website: https://journal.unisza.edu.my/jonus/index.php/jonus. JONUS managed to publish 6 articles written by Nusantara authors in its first issue (Volume 1, Number 1, 2016). JONUS is inviting papers for Vol. 1 No. 2 (2016) which is scheduled for 31th December 2016.
